We had a mini- competition last week and struggled because we hadn't been able to pick up blocks at the time. We spent some time modifying our robot and hcame out with this. We managed to make a claw attachment and fully attach the claw! Hope you guys enjoy!
Many people have heard of engineering, but many people haven't heard of Ocean Engineering. We learned all about it from Grace Young, an ocean engineer who actively finds ways to improve our ocean, and further explore it. Ocean engineers build robots that can track fish in the ocean, and that can map sea ice, that can detect oil, and that can navigate themselves throughout the ocean. Ocean engineers will be the ones who will change the future of the way we see oceans and the Earth. Image taken from http://www.graceunderthesea.com
It's ALIVE! Our robot has a brain! Today we are going to be working on programming our brain so that we can begin training for driving our base. Check out our latest YouTube video to see more! We are soooooo excited!
Hi! Today is the first day of our blog! Yay! We will be posting lots of pictures and videos of our robot and its progress. We also will be posting our progress on building our robot and our STEM project. Thanks!
Robotics Quote of the Day: "By the time robots can dance like more like humans, we have already changed the way we dance to be more like robots." |
