Don't worry.
The Gear Gals have not fallen into the Grand Canyon. They have, unfortunately, fell into a pit of procrastination, and have just resurfaced.
Just kidding :)
We are so sorry we haven't posted for so long, but luckily we have a lot of news to show for it.
First off, we went to GIT, (for the second time!!!!) and it was amazing as usual. We met a lot of other cool STEM girls, and hope we are going to be invited back when spring time comes.
Second, we went to our first skills competition, and were able to qualify for states. Our whole team was able to work together to make and program a small robot in about a day, so we were able to earn first place in programming skills!
In addition, we also have a now have a full functioning robot, Gigi 4.0!
Lastly, yesterday we presented to kindergarteners, and taught them how to make Oobleck!!! Check out our website: http://science-4-kids.weebly.com/ to learn how to make it for yourself at home! Here are some pictures of us at the event:
